He Lifeng led the central delegation to visit the Caohu project area of the XPCC for condolences and investigation
On October 9, He Lifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, headed a central delegation on a visit to the Caohu project area within the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
During the visit, the team closely examined the site of a significant higher education initiative. They reviewed the project’s overall planning, phase objectives, and construction progress in detail. He Lifeng underscored the necessity of adhering to project specifications, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing quality to ensure efficient and high-standard construction. He pointed out the need for alignment with the current industrial landscape and future developmental directions in Xinjiang, advocating for the establishment of competitive and high-quality academic disciplines and programs. The overarching aim is to develop a model that integrates production, education, research, and application, facilitating the cultivation of highly skilled professionals vital for Xinjiang’s economic and social growth.
In the Caohu Economic and Technological Development Zone, the delegation investigated local enterprises’ production and business operations and assessed their roles in job creation and contributions to the regional economy. He Lifeng highlighted the need for relevant departments to aid businesses in enhancing their competitiveness and expanding their overall capacities while actively pursuing opportunities in both domestic and international markets. Furthermore, he called for fostering a favorable investment climate and nurturing an innovation ecosystem to drive high-quality economic development in Southern Xinjiang. He also urged the establishment of platforms for diverse ethnic groups to engage and communicate, furthering the building of a shared community among the Chinese nation.
The visit was attended by Miao Hua, a member of the Central Military Commission and director of the political work department, along with prominent figures from the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and other members of the central delegation.
