Go abroad to participate in exhibitions! Chang’e-6 lunar back sample unveiled at the 75th International Astronautical Congress
From October 14 to 18, the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) convened in Milan, Italy, under the theme of “Responsible Space Sustainability.” More than 10,000 representatives from over 100 countries and regions, including leaders from space agencies, international organizations, scholars, entrepreneurs, and astronauts, gathered for the event. The congress showcased the latest advancements in aerospace technology and fostered in-depth discussions on topics such as sustainable exploration of the Moon and Mars, space observations related to Earth’s climate change, the role of private enterprises in space endeavors, and the application of artificial intelligence.
A highlight of the conference was the significant achievements of China’s Chang’e 6 lunar mission. For the first time, the lunar samples collected from the far side of the Moon were displayed to a global audience. This exclusive exhibit not only showcased China’s technological advancements in the aerospace sector but also opened new research opportunities for scientists worldwide. Attendees, including leaders from various national space agencies and international organizations, expressed great interest in the lunar samples.
