Liaoning- Promote the sharing of cultural and creative resources and create a cultural, sports and tourism industry ecology throughout the chain
On October 22, 2023, in Shenyang, the Liaoning Province Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Industry Development Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Industry Association. This partnership aims to enhance the integration and sharing of cultural and creative resources between Liaoning and Shenzhen, accelerating the flow and collaboration of talent, technology, and resources.
Chai Lijun, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Liaoning Province Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Industry Development Group, welcomed attendees at the signing ceremony. He was joined by a delegation of ten, including Chen Heping, a member of the Central Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association and Deputy Director of Advanced Manufacturing Industry, who serves as the President of the Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Industry Association.
Before the signing, both parties engaged in discussions to deepen their understanding of each other and explored future cooperation directions and specific projects. The agreement focuses on integrating the cultural and tourism sectors, paving the way for practical collaborations in cultural creativity, project development, talent exchange, and technological cooperation. This initiative aims to enrich and expand unique cultural and tourism experiences in Liaoning, while creating a robust ecosystem that highlights the province’s strengths in the industry. Following the signing, both parties officially inaugurated the “Liaoning Workstation of the Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Industry Association.”
The Liaoning Province Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Industry Development Group was established on September 5, 2024, with the mission of creating a high-quality developmental demonstration zone for integrated cultural and tourism experiences. As a major state-owned enterprise, it focuses on building a diversified product system centered around cultural experiences, sports events, and tourism, while promoting the brand “Mountain and Sea Affection, Sky and Land Tranquility.” The group seeks to set a new benchmark for cultural and tourism integration across the province and the nation as a whole.
Founded in 2014 by prominent cultural enterprises, including the Fortune Global 500 company Zhengwei Group, the Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Industry Association consists of nearly 2,000 creative enterprises, representing over 30 leading firms, such as those in the Fortune 500, China’s top 500, and Guangdong 500. As a key player in the domestic creative sector, it acts as a comprehensive public service platform for Shenzhen’s cultural and creative industries, characterized by advanced ideas, rich experience, and extensive resources.
On October 23, 2023, the Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Industry Association plans to visit several projects, including the “Ignite Winter” initiative, the Liaoning Quality (Digital Creativity) Experience Center, and the Cultural and Tourism Research Institute project.
